The Board of Directors of the Georgia Gang Investigators Association (GGIA) has approved the implementation of a Basic Gang Investigator Certification for its members in conjunction with the Conyers Police Department. The certification course will be held at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at Rockdale Career Academy located at 1064 Culpepper Drive SW, Conyers, GA. 30094. Personnel applying to obtain a GGIA Basic Gang Investigator Certification must meet the following criteria:
- Be a member in good standing of the Georgia Gang Investigators Association
- Registration and payment required in advance
- Pay a tuition cost of $100.00 (Pay for 1 slot get the 2nd free) Special discount sponsored by The Georgia National Guard Counterdrug Task Force.
- Attend the entire 8 hour GGIA Basic Gang Investigator Certification Course
- Successfully pass the Basic Street Gang Investigator Certification test of 50 questions with minimum score of 70%
