The Georgia Gang Investigators Association (GGIA) is hosting a Basic Gang Investigator Certification for its members in conjunction with the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office. The certification course will be held at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2020, at the Whitfield County SO, located at 296 Old Praters Mill Road, Dalton, GA 30721. Personnel applying to obtain a GGIA Basic Gang Investigator Certification must meet the following criteria:
- Be a member in good standing of the Georgia Gang Investigators Association
- Registration and payment required in advance
- Pay a tuition cost of $100.00
- Attend the entire 8 hour GGIA Basic Gang Investigator Certification Course
- Successfully pass the Basic Street Gang Investigator Certification test of 50 questions with minimum score of 70%
