The Georgia Gang Investigators Association (GGIA) is hosting a Basic Gang Investigator Certification for its members in conjunction with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office. The certification course will be held at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at the Cherokee County SO, located at 516 Chattin Dr., Canton, GA 30115.
Personnel applying to obtain a GGIA Intermediate Street Gang Investigator Certification must meet the following criteria:
- Have successfully completed the BASIC Certification Course
- Be a member in good standing of the Georgia Gang Investigators Association
- Registration and payment required in advance
- Pay a tuition cost of $100.00
- A laptop will be required to complete the training
- Attend the entire 8 hour GGIA Intermediate Street Gang Investigators Certification Course
- Successfully pass the Intermediate Street Gang Investigators Certification test of 50 questions with minimum score of 70%
All participants are required to have a laptop to complete required course work.
