On September 6, 2018, we saw the first major policy step in response to the GGIA’s statewide gang survey, published in June. Attorney General Chris Carr announced the creation of the Georgia Anti-Gang Network, a partnership between local, state, and federal agencies, including the Georgia Gang Investigators Association. The platform is designed to increase information-sharing and craft a unified, strategic response to the gang crisis.
